Unit 33 Stop Motion Animation

What Is Stop Motion Animation?

Stop motion animation is  an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object that would appear to move on its own for example slight movements. The object will  be moved in small increments through individually photographed frames this then creates a film, for example "Coraline". This shows an illusion of movements which creates the object to be moving. clay figures such as "Morph" are used in stop motion animations for their ease of repositioning. Stop motion animation has had a long history in the film industry which dates back to the late 1890's where the first creation of animation was produced. This was called "The Humpty Dumpty Circus". however due to the latest technology animation has been able to expand, Here are a few examples of stop motion animation.

A few examples of Stop Motion Animation are

* Coraline
